An Open Letter to Mine Honoured Cousins
Right worshipful and honoured cousins, I recommend myself to you, thanking most heartily your interest in my well-being; and like it you to know that mine health is well and mine fortunes acceptable.
In good faith, cousins, it is the length of my past which I shall disclose at your request.

Being the History of One Ciarán ui Cainnech
Ciarán was born in what is today called Carrickfergus. He was born in the fall of 1541 CE. The Queen referenced is Queen Elizabeth I Queen of England and Queen of Ireland, and the father is King Henry VIII.
Ciarán's father began teaching him about his trading concern when he was ten years old.
The ship owned by the ui Cainnechs has sailed throughout the British Isles and as far south as Lisbon.
Ciarán resides in the Canton of Sudentorre, within the Barony of Stierbach, within the Kingdom of Atlantia. Or, as known outside the SCA: Fredericksburg, VA, USA.
